Ok, if there was ever a couple that was meant to be, Haley and Dylan would fit the bill. It was your romantic classic story. They meet sophomore year in high school. They date andĀ fall in love. Boy goes off to war (well…an LDS mission!) He gets home and they book a temple date. He proposes and they get hitched. They knew without a doubt that they were meant to be together. Notice the gorgeous necklace and earrings the Bride, Haley is wearing. Her groom bought those for her while on his mission. How adorable is that?!
From high school sweethearts to Mr & Mrs just a few days after Valentine’s Day!
I adored Haley’s choice in wedding colors. She kept it super classy and sophisticated with a beautiful array of greens. Although Haley and Dylan shared winter “I do’s”, they supplied the green! Utah can be a brown muddy mess during winter so, having a winter wedding can be tricky. With the bridesmaids in emerald green dresses and the groomsmen in the same color tie, it’s almost impossible to notice that it’s winter. Aside from the bitter cold wind whipping through the hills, it was a perfect GREEN winter wedding day!
Behind the scenes:
Ok, so I have an embarrassing confession. The day before Haley and Dylan’s wedding, I started feeling super sick. I stayed in bed all day and ended up with a fever of 102 that night. I had a terrible cough and barely had a voice. Luckily I wasn’t too out of it that I was smart enough to hire a second shooter to come help me. Oh boy did I need her help! I had the second shooter call out the group photos and grab all the adorable candid images. I was definitely not feeling 100%… I was functioning at about 5% HAHA! I shot this entire wedding with the actual FLU! I had a high fever of 102 (again!) while I was working.
As a wedding photographer, I take my job very seriously. My bride and groom hired me and that’s what I gave them. I don’t call in sick and I never ever leave my clients hanging!
