Choosing a wedding venue is always an important decision for any bride & groom. It's one of the only things that you can't skip. You need a place to get married and share your big day with loved ones. Finding the perfect venue can be daunting task. So many options! Before selecting a venue, consider asking yourself these questions:

1. What is my venue budget?

2. How many people will be in attendance?

3. What are your venue priorities/what's included?

4. What is your wedding day vision?

5. Have you narrowed down a wedding date?

As a wedding photographer in Utah, I have had the privilege of shooting in SO MANY amazing locations! Some venues really bend over backwards for their brides. I've compiled a list of a few of my most favorites:

Millennial Falls Events Center

Millennial Falls Events Center

Draper, Utah

What I love:

  • Absolutely stunning indoor and outdoor options (Ummm...it has a waterfall!)
  • The brides room is gorgeous. It's easily the most beautiful bride's room I've ever seen!
  • Large ballroom and separate area for tables
  • Stunning lighting (huge windows!)
  • The buffet food was delicious.
  • The cake display was hanging from the ceiling!

What I love:

  • The grounds were stunningly beautiful! I shot a wedding there during the fall and the bright colors of the canyon trees were to die for.
  • The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful
  • The views during the outdoor ceremony were dreamy
  • It was a bit chilly so they provided blankets and heaters for guests
  • Waterfalls! Yes, there are multiple :)

Here's one of my all time favorite backyard weddings...

Whether your wedding venue is in an expensive venue or a backyard, it's my job as your wedding photographer to make your wedding look like a million dollars. You have spent so much time and effort planning each detail of your wedding day and I will capture it so that the memories last forever. All the details, love and smiles that come with your big day, I'll be there to catch it all.
