Hello. I'm Meghan.

I'm a photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Photographing couples is my absolute favorite.

is real, comfortable and super fun!

"Meghan was seriously the most laid back, amazing, funny, and talented photographer ever! She made everything a breeze and our pictures are stunning. I still look at them daily because I'm just in love with her work."

Engagement Photography

An engagement session is the perfect time for us to get to know each other! Are you camera shy or do you love all eyes on you? An engagement session breaks the ice and prepares you for what to expect on your wedding day. We’ll keep things light and casual–capturing all the right moments.

What can you do with engagement photos? First, having your photos taken professionally before you put on that white dress will boost your confidence in our own beauty and the photographer’s ability to photograph your wedding. These images are what you use to introduce yourselves to the world as a couple. They’ll be some of the first photos you hang in your home & make great gifts for grandparents and parents.

Make your engagement session even more special by choosing a location that is important to you as a couple. It could be where you met, your favorite museum, or where the proposal happened. If you’d like location ideas, I am more than happy to send you a list of breath-taking locations.

Bridal Session

A bridal session is a chance for you to put on your dress, accessories and have a trial run with hair and make-up. We will take our time during a stress-free session. You’ll have the chance to make sure the dress fits perfectly and if the flowers are exactly the way you pictured them. There are multiple reasons why I think bridal sessions are a “must have” item but the biggest reason is location! We’ll get hundreds of images of you on your wedding day at your venue but a bridal session is a great way to be creative. You’ve invested in your dress, flowers, hair & make-up, so let’s make the most of it and showcase your beauty in a unique location.

What can you do with bridal photos? Bridal photography is the perfect opportunity to make sure everything is up to your standard. You’ll have time to make any necessary changes before your wedding day. Display these glamorous images at your wedding reception and then hang them in your home for years to come. They also make beautiful gifts for mothers and fathers. They will be excited to show off their gorgeous children to all who enter their home.

Formals

Formals are basically the same type of session as Bridal Photography (see above) with one big difference…the Groom! During a formal session your groom is included in the stress free pre-wedding photos. We’ll take our time with just the two of you. No on-lookers, hovering family members or short on time. A formal session gives bride, groom and photographer the opportunity to become comfortable with each other. Again, location, location, location! We can venture to the mountains, stroll the sands of the Great Salt Lake or visit an urban city ‘scape.

Ceremony

A wedding ceremony is probably the most important part of your wedding day preparation. This is the part when you and your fiance finally become husband and wife. Every ceremony is unique to each couple. I will be there ready to capture all the important moments. Are you arriving in a horse-drawn carriage? I’ll be there. Getting ready & primping with your bridesmaids? I’ll be there. Will your father walk you down the aisle? I’ll be there. When the officiator proclaims, “you may now kiss the bride”, I’ll be there! This moment is not only special to you and your love but, to your friends and family too. I’ll be sure to capture their candid emotions and joy they felt during your ceremony.

Temple Ceremony

While a temple sealing is sacred and not photographed, temple photography after the sealing is a perfect time to celebrate your new & eternal family. You’ll want lasting memories as you exit the temple and embrace your anxiously awaiting loved ones. Group photos with family & friends, bridal party & time with just the bride and groom will be captured during this session. Having professional photos as husband and wife around the temple grounds will be a lasting treasure. I typically get candid photos of those waiting for you to exit the temple so you’ll remember who came to support you. Once outside, we will take multiple combinations of group photos. Dismissing family and friends, we will meander around the grounds taking portraits of the happy bride and groom.

Reception Photography

During a reception session (held after a ceremony or temple sealing) I will capture as many of the details that I possibly can… the rings, centerpieces, flowers, food, family and friends. Reception photography will capture candid moments of those who have come to congratulate the happy couple. Posed family photos, the first dance, father-daughter dance, tossing the bouquet and garter are all moments that can be remembered throughout time. Do you have a surprise dance or special exit planned? I’ll be there to photograph all the best moments.
